If you get an invite, and if you’re using iOS that is.
Just less than a month after their initial announcement, Epic Games finally start opening the gates to the mobile version of their hit battle royale spinoff to Fortnite. Hitting milestone after milestone, the fandom of Fortnite Battle Royale now extends to the mobile gamer segment starting with iOS users.
Mobile players will get to play the full Fortnite Battle Royale experience, although there are some obvious tweaks to how some things work. For instance, audio cues are projected visually and the graphics are obviously gonna be made to fit mobile processing powers. Cross-play between devices are supported, and as well as cross-progression, which means that you can switch from PC or Console to mobile and still keep your account related achievements and items.
As of now, players can only play Fortnite Battle Royale on the iOS through an invite-only system although Epic Games states that they’re looking to roll out to Android devices in the coming months.
In the meantime, you can start signing up for a mobile invite through the game’s official Mobile Sign Up page.
